Runway Trend: Futuristic Perfect

Runway Trend: Futuristic Perfect

Fall 2012. From colors, silhouettes, and fabrics illustrated on and unto the fashions; Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Versace, Mary Katrantzou, and Peter Pilotto gave us looks of what we hope to look like in the “future”… literal and figuratively.

Chanel

At Chanel, models strutted down a crystallized runway. Rocking Chanel’s signature tweed suits and separates. As well as coats and sweaters with geometry patterned shapes and silhouettes. Crystals glistened on coat cuffs and trims, as well as on gorgeous heels.

My favorite addition was the beautifully laid strips of crystals on the models’ eyebrows, love it!!
